Microblading After-Care Instructions

Male microblading post-care instructions play a very important factor in the appearance and longevity of your eyebrow result. Please read through the after-care instructions thoroughly and reach out to us if you have any questions.

Do not allow water, lotion or soap to touch your eyebrows for the first 14 days after your treatment. Wash your face carefully around the eyebrow area making sure not to get them wet. When you shower, be sure to keep the water away from your brows. Water will loosen and lighten the pigment and will not allow the microblading to retain in the skin.

Avoid picking, scratching or rubbing your brows during the healing process. Itching and flaking may occur during the first 7 days post-treatment. It is very important to let the process take place without disruption. DO NOT pull of premature scabs. Doing so can cause patch results or even scarring.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The entire healing process will take 4 to 6 weeks depending on your body regeneration and age. Your microbladed eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle.

The pigment will appear very dark immediately following the treatment and may appear even darker the next day.

After the peeling phase, the eyebrows will be very light, to the point you may think they went away! Even with proper care, men will peel and/or fade more in different areas which may leave patchy or uneven areas. This is to be expected and is the very reason why most people need a touch-up around 8 weeks post-treatment.

Once the healing of the skin takes place, it will look flaky like dandruff. This is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from the eyebrows.

Never rub the treated area as this will disturb the skin from naturally healing.

It will take approximately 30 days for the final result of your microbladed eyebrows to reveal themselves.

Once completely healed, apply an SPF 30 or 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Exposure to the sun can cause the pigment to fade away more quickly.
